Spring has sprung, the sun is teasing us and the countdown is on for open air raves, back garden BBQs, beer and pumping beats. This is the time of year releases really start to ramp up ahead of festival season but trust in Subsurface, we’ve got the best selections as always.

My Record of the Week this week comes from Zero & Klubbheads, you might have heard this one doing the rounds and it recently got a big play by Club Angel @ Intercell (also our set of the week). It’s high energy and addictive - a classic ATW release which will no doubt be a staple this summer season.

It’s safe to say Grime/Rap vocals and UKG go together like a first time raver and a Nike Tech tracksuit. We’ve been blessed with two incredible picks this week. Sleazy F Babys’ vocals were made for a MUCKANIKS bassline and Gardna’s bars on this Declan Knapp record are fire.

KMK has also dropped his debut album, I’ve picked track #1 but the whole album is worth a playthrough - it’s criminal this guy has only 765 monthly Spotify listeners.
