We’re properly in that pre-summer ramp-up now.
Line-ups are dropping, everyone’s suddenly a booking agent, and half the scene is arguing over whether UKG’s “second resurgence” is actually its fourth.
Meanwhile… the producers are just cooking.
This week feels built for main room moments. Big basslines, reload potential, and a few records that are going to sound even better once they start getting spun on bigger systems.
Record of the Week goes to TOM LECHEF – Don Dada.
Proper main room UKG energy with that addictive beat that makes you nod before you even realise it. It’s confident, it’s punchy, and it feels like the sort of track that will quietly become a staple over the next few months.
D1’s “Bi Carb” brings that minimal warehouse crunch, no filler, just bass weight goodness. Soulecta’s “Bang” is pure bass-face material. Flava D reminds everyone she can still drop a 140 hammer whenever she feels like it.
There’s a lot of variety across this one, from spacey blends to full-send bassline pressure but it all sits under that same Subsurface umbrella.
If you’re updating your USB or playlists this week, start here.
Plenty more to get your ears round. Until next week.

Osmosis Jones @ Revolve Festival: Osmosis Jones was described by IPC as producing the sickest suave UK Garage and this set doesn’t disappoint.
There’s a nice balance here between catchy hooks and low-end pressure. Plug it into something loud, pour yourself a suave glass of red and mince around your living room.
